When LIFE's Mission Team visited Nicaragua on a Homes for LIFE-Project Hope Trip, they met little Daniel Lopez. Daniel suffers from an inherited skin disorder that causes his little body to blister with any friction, like clothes or shoes rubbing up against him. Covered by horrible and painful blisters, Daniel endured constant pain and discomfort.
Daniel's family could not afford the medical treatment he needed, so LIFE Outreach and our mission partners in Nicaragua intervened. After only a few medical treatments, Daniel looks like a different child. The sores are almost gone, leaving Daniel with the healthy skin he needs to finally enjoy his life as a healthy little boy.

Florin never knew his parents. Scarred from childhood abuse and deeply craving acceptance, he turned to homosexuality. Thoughts of inferiority plagued him:
"I'm the wrong child born in a right world where there may be no place for me... Does anyone love me?"
By the goodness of God, Florin was brought to the Romania LIFE Center where he finally found the love and acceptance he had been looking for. He learned the trade of carpentry and even got a job. Most importantly though, Florin received Jesus into his life and was delivered from the lifestyle of homosexuality. Now, instead of rejection and loneliness, he feels the peace and joy of God.
