The LIFE Network
Will your Church be ready when the next disaster strikes?
We are excited to announce the creation of the LIFE Network for response to victims of crime and disaster. This is a network of churches and ministries that will have the training and credentials to be first responders to national disasters. This will be your opportunity to personally join LIFE Outreach in our homeland mission's efforts.
LIFE will be holding Victim Chaplain Classes for the purpose of training crisis responders for national disasters such as Hurricane Katrina, the New York City bombings, widespread flooding, fires, etc.
Classes will be held bi-annually at the LIFE Today Studios in Euless, Texas. This two day training class will provide you with the credentials necessary for access to ground zero. You will learn valuable skills and will understand proper procedures for victim response. You and many other pastors and lay people will be trained and ready when the next disaster hits.
LIFE Outreach has trained and credentialed responders on staff who recently traveled to help the residents of Greensburg, Kansas. We were able to spend several days with ordinary people that were suddenly thrown into harrowing circumstances when one of the most powerful tornados in US history destroyed their town. We were able to make a difference for them individually and we were able to help connect the faith community.
If you have ever wanted to join us on the mission field, this is your opportunity. If you have wanted to know the best way to help in the face of national disasters or if you have wanted to just be there for the people then you will want to be part of the "LIFE Network".
Joining the LIFE Network has 2 requirements.
1. Attend the Victim Relief Chaplaincy Training held at our studios in Euless, Texas.
2. Have your church join Churches for LIFE both prayerfully and financially.
